How are Helpguide's links chosen? What is your policy on reciprocal links?

Helpguide provides an introduction / overview for each topic as well as links to carefully selected non-commercial websites to facilitate "delving deeper." Our editors select a few sites which we deem best in proving easy to use basics plus the option to delve deeply into specific aspects of the topic. We do not include "reciprocal links" unless they meet these criteria.

What is Helpguide's policy on commercial sites?

Our goal is to choose the most helpful, up-to-date, and thorough web pages and make every effort to use non-commercial sites. If the best information for a particular topic can only be found on sponsored or commercial sites, we will provide a link to those pages with a note to that effect.

What is Helpguide's privacy policy?

Helpguide does not collect any personally identifiable information, nor do we sell or distribute email addresses. Helpguide collects only aggregate information pertaining to visitors to its network of sites, including domain name, visited pages, referring URLs, and other publicly available information. Helpguide uses this information to help improve its web site and services, and to customize the content of its pages for each individual consumer.
